I didn't mean for an entire month to go by without releasing something, or at the very least updating this blog. Sorry. But why have I been so busy? Because I have a baby. As such, the next release by Out of Print Records Records (OoPRR #7) will be a children's record.
Many artists have gone from releasing adult fare to children's fare over the course of their careers as they've matured and procreated. Pete Seeger, for instance. Elizabeth "Liz" Mitchell from Ida is another example. "Serious" kids music is much less treacly than stuff like Kids Bop, but weird all the same...unless you have a child.
So with that brief introduction let me pitch you what we'll be releasing: a kids record by Wolf Eyes. I can think of nothing better than a mind melting psychedelic noise record for the baby, nay, infant set. We could press it onto a diaper or a binky or something and it could be limited to...lets say 10-12 copies. The release could be called PACIFIER. Yes, that could be our seventh release.
UPDATE
This project is completely unrealizable because baby pacifiers aren't the best medium for cutting grooves and also Wolf Eyes aren't brutal enough for baby-noise-fanatics. Maybe a Haters baby record is a better idea? Anyway, this record is UNRELEASED. Do not attempt to order.
